Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy

Returns and Refunds information

1. Final Sale Status

Due to the highly sensitive, technical, and perishable nature of the research chemicals (peptides) sold by Flex Peptides Ltd ("the Company"), all sales are final. Once a product has left our climate-controlled facility, the "Chain of Custody" is broken. Because we cannot verify the storage conditions (temperature, light exposure, or humidity) or the sterile integrity of the product while in a customer's possession, we cannot, under any circumstances, accept returns or offer reflections for "change of mind" or "incorrect ordering."

2. Legal Exception to the "Right to Cancel"

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the statutory 14-day right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly: Peptides are chemically unstable and degrade if not stored at specific temperatures (e.g., -20°C or 4°C).
  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons: If the sterile seal of a vial is broken or the packaging is tampered with, the product is rendered useless for laboratory research and poses a safety risk.

By completing your purchase, you expressly acknowledge that these products fall under these exemptions.

3. Product Integrity and Quality Assurance

We take the "Research Use Only" status of our products seriously. To ensure the safety of the global research community, we do not restock or resell any item that has been shipped to a customer. This policy ensures that every researcher receives a product of guaranteed purity and stability directly from our controlled environment.

4. Damaged or Defective Goods

In the rare event that a product arrives physically damaged (e.g., a shattered vial) or if there is a verified discrepancy in the order (e.g., the wrong peptide sequence was sent), the following protocol must be followed:

  • Notification Window: You must notify our Support Team at within 24 hours of the recorded delivery time.
  • Evidence Required: You must provide high-resolution photographic evidence of the damaged shipping container and the unopened, sealed vial in question.
  • Resolution: If the fault lies with the Company, we will provide a replacement at our expense. No refunds will be issued; only exact-item replacements or store credit for the specific defective item will be considered.

5. Failed Delivery and Incorrect Addresses

  • Customer Error: It is the Buyer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate UK shipping address. If a package is returned to us as "Undeliverable" or "Refused," it will be destroyed immediately for safety reasons. No refund or reshipment will be issued for customer address errors.
  • Customs Seizures (International): While we ship primarily within the UK, if an international order is seized by customs, the Buyer assumes all financial responsibility. We do not refund for seized or destroyed international shipments.

6. Order Cancellations

Orders are processed for dispatch immediately upon payment to maintain the chemical integrity of the products.

  • Once an order has reached the "Processing" or "Shipped" status, it cannot be cancelled or modified.
  • If you request a cancellation before the order is processed, a administrative/restocking fee may apply to cover merchant processing costs which are non-refundable to us.

7. Limitation of Laboratory Results

Please note that "Research Use Only" means the Buyer is responsible for their own laboratory methodology. We do not offer refunds based on the "results" of your research or if a peptide does not produce the expected reaction in your specific in vitro application. Variability in lab equipment, temperature, and researcher skill are outside of our control.
